Pregnancy yoga presents an opportunity to the mother – to further develop awareness of how body movement, sound, breathing and relaxation can be deeply useful during the birthing process and beyond. Pregnancy is a time of growth and personal development for mothers, while most attention is focused on the baby; you are experiencing changes in your life and outlook too. As you get ready to welcome your baby into your world, the value of knowing how to move to create more comfort and ease in your body, of learning how to breathe yourself into a relaxed state and various ways to maintain that relaxation is immense.

Mothers report that the tools they learned in their pregnancy classes supported them through the birth experience, and beyond into early motherhood. Pregnancy yoga supports your intuitive connection to yourself, and develops your connection to your baby. Come and learn from others and share their experiences, grow in awareness of yourself and your baby's needs, and feel prepared and relaxed about the journey ahead.

They are suitable for mums-to-be from 12 weeks and you can safely practice until the date of your birth. Pregnancy naturally inspires a connection to and curiosity with our bodies and yoga enhances this, taking us deeper into ourselves. No previous yoga experience is necessary.
