Sandra Gillespie

Massage + Craniosacral Therapy

Sandra originally trained in therapeutic massage at the New Mexico Academy of Healing Arts in Santa Fe (1998, USA), an area renowned as a centre of bodywork excellence in practice and teaching. Curious about the more subtle workings of the body, she went on to study craniosacral therapy through the Upledger Institute (2000,USA) and the Karuna Institute  (2005, UK). In 2005 she also completed postgraduate training in working with people with cancer at the Penny Brohn Cancer Centre (UK).  She regularly attends national and international conferences, workshops and seminars to keep current in her field and because of her passion for the amazingness of the human body.

Since 2010 Sandra has studied with eminent researchers and clinicians in bodymind approaches to trauma therapy and movement. Her research interests include somatic re-patterning, neuroplasticity, and developmental trauma. Her speciality is stress relief: physical, mental and emotional.

Sandra is registered with the Association of Physical and Natural Therapists (APNT), the Craniosacral Therapy Association of the UK (CSTA) and the British Complementary Medicine Association (BCMA).
