Ayurveda is a holistic, well-established system of medicine with historical roots in the Indian subcontinent, it is the sister science of Yoga. Ayurveda starts its treatment by looking into digestion of each individual, the quality of the food and its assimilation into the body.

If selected well, food is our everyday medicine and the constant source of our vitality, strength and good health. In the era when all types of foods are available 365 days a year, 24 hours a day it is easy to get confused about what and how to eat in order to maintain the optimum health.

During the upcoming seminar, you will learn about the Ayurvedic concepts related to food qualities and its preparation. We will discuss how to understand the six tastes and their impact on Doshas (body humours), how to recognise the different types of qualities in food products and what it means when it comes to digestion. We will also learn about food preparation methods according to Ayurveda and discuss how, when and how much to eat in order to digest well and assimilate the food properly. The seminar is open to all and no previous knowledge of Ayurveda is necessary.
