Do you wake up in the middle of the night, tossing and turning until the early hours of the morning ? Do you stay awake for hours worrying about anything or thinking about all you have to accomplish with not enough hours in the day?

According to the NHS, one in three people in the UK experiences insomnia occasionally or regularly. High level of stress and anxiety, poor sleeping environment (lights, noises etc.), lifestyle factors (working/eating late, drinking too much alcohol or caffeine, TV/ electronic devices overload) can affect the quality of our sleep. A daily dose of good quality sleep is crucial to reboot the nervous system, regulate weight, strengthen immunity, protect cardio-vascular health, repair tissues and cells, and restore energy.

In this workshop, we will focus on calming the mind and balancing the nervous system through a deeply nourishing restorative practice, to activate the ‘’Rest and Digest’’ response. We will use blocks, blankets, bolsters and other props to support the body, create spaciousness and ease, and allow deep relaxation. You will be given practical tips to help improve the quality of your sleep.

This workshop is open to all levels, including complete beginners. The numbers are limited to 10-12 people, so everyone will get plenty of attention from Berenice.
