Pilates and restorative yoga workshop for your core. Pilates exercises strengthen your core and help improve posture. Connecting the core with breath to give you controlled fluid movements that feel naturally beneficial to your whole body. The fundamentals of pilates practice will be fully covered during the workshop to encourage Joseph Pilates philosophy of integrated body/mind/spirit approach to movement.

The workshop begins with pilates principles such as centering, concentration, control, precision, breath, and flow. Moving towards a pilates core sequence and finishing with restorative yoga practice.

Restorative yoga releases physical, mental and emotional stress through passive supported stretches that encourage the parasympathetic nervous system to activate. Once the body is in this rest and digest state deep healing happens from within.

    Natalie believes that Pilates can transform not only the body but also the mind, soul and whole life. She started practicing Pilates 20 years ago after the birth of her son and has personally experienced the transformative nature of Pilates.
