Yoga and Ayurveda teach us that in order to have natural immunity and resistance we need to apply our awareness and our body intelligence to maintain a state of Balance. 5 key things need to be kept in balance, and when that is achieved we are immune to even the most contagious of diseases. These are: our Digestive Fire (A gni); the natural state of our Doshas; waste products produced by our body; the five senses functioning adequately;our body, mind and consciousness in harmony.

We must also be mindful of keeping a balance between our internal and external environments. There is always a way to restore balance. In our current fast pace world, too many times we get the feeling that certain conditions, certain pains, are there to stay and we just need to live with them in order to continue moving and be strong. But disease (d is-ease) i s simply disorder. Given the time and space to tune deeply into ourselves, we understand that there is always a play of order and disorder and therefore order can naturally be restored by recognising and listening to that. Diseases can be physical, psychological or spiritual and can manifest in different areas of our self. Join us on this 4 week course using the wisdom and knowledge of Kundalini Yoga and Ayurveda to understand what creates disorder and how order is restored.

Each 2 hour session will consist of part Yoga and Meditation practice, and part talk. All participants will become familiar with the state of Doshas which is most natural to them and be able to use that as a guide to restoring the right balance...Within the course of the 4 weeks you will experience a process of strengthening and re-calibrating as well as gain tools for ongoing maintenance of your health and resistance.

In these 4 weeks you will:

  • take time to tune in and become fully aware of the presence of disorder in your body;
  • experience and understand what it means to be in balance and reestablish order;
  • get to know the Doshas and understand your body's bioenergetics;

  • develop healthy habits that are suitable to your body type and lifestyle.
